Yes these are fun lizards. The size of the cage is fine for now for 2 but most likely they will out grow it. The rule of thumb is for lizards, the cage needs to be at least 2 1/2 times the length of the lizard. You have two lizards that will grow to about 3 feet in length , some get bigger. My point is you don't have much room for more lizards, I know it looks like you do, but you don't.
Unlike Iguanas, Water Dragons do eat bugs and sometimes mice.as well as mix of veggies.so small lizards may be eaten.
Websites?..Kingsnake.com is a good place to start, any reptile mag will list many many..just go on a search and you'll find care sheets.good luck.
reptiles should only be housed with other reptiles of the same kind. Each kind of reptile requires different needs, even if it is the slightest thing it can be dangerous for them. They will also probably fight other reptiles because they do not recognize them. Find out what gender your water dragons are. The best thing to have is 2 females and one male.
Hi Im a reptile rescuer. You definately cant put any other lizards in with water dragons. First of all, they get to be about 3 feet each when full grown. Second, they need special care. They need more humidity than any other lizard. You need to have a "pool" of water in the cage, and a mister or fountain to keep the moisture constant. They also tend to "potty" in their water bowls so they need to be changed daily. The only good part about that is you can use reptile carpet to line the cage. Please let me know if you need any help. The Water dragons are a tricky species to keep. Good Luck.
