I have a beardy and she only goes to the bathroom,(at first) every few days. and now she hs not went in wks( i think),cause SOMETIMES I take her outside in a blocked off garden area and dont watch her the whole time,but I dont think she went. Could it be the change in weather? I know reptiles are not as active in the fall/winter time. She is eating mealworms/crickets but wont touch veggies hardly anymore.

have you tried soaking her in a bath of lukewarm water? usually a warm soak will stimulate a bowel movement. some people even do this daily, sort of as potty training. but. you said she has not gone in weeks. a bearded dragon should be going to the bathroom if not every day, every few days- depending on husbandry and environment. it is a good sign though that she is eating, but should be eating the veggies as well. have you tried different types of veggies? mine seems to get bored if i offer the same type all the time. A number of things could be going on with your beardie (impaction and improper husbandry, as the others mentioned). the best thing to do would be to find a good vet in your area. and if by any chance the beardie does go to the bathroom, you could get a fecal done for the vet to look for parasites (which can make beardies lethargic). i agree with Zac on looking through reptilerooms.com here is a link to the bearded dragon forum.

You might want to take your beardy to a local vet. My friends beardy was impacted and the vet just gave him some medicine to give it. Depending on what you keep it on and what you feed it daily can sometimes give you an idea if it has the poissibilty of being impacted. Sand is a major cause of this. If you beardy is on sand you should try to get it off immediately. Usually people at the pet store have no idea what they are talking about when they say that a certain type of sand is fine for them. Repti Carpet and tile/ fack tile are some good alternatives.
Don't get too worried though, when some reptiles change their diet or get older sometimes they poop or pee at different times. Sometimes they can just pee and sometimes they can just poop. My leo does the same thing. I know of a time where he didnt poop for a few days and is fine.
You might just want to look on a website, I recommend Reptilerooms.com to get more information on this. Your problem can also be a rsult of improper heating or lighting. I know that a leopard gecko wont eat a lot if they know they can't digest the food (with heat).
