Well it depends on how old they are. When they have passed the age of 1000 years, their metabolism is a at its highest and they eat 5 tons of meat (sheep if they can get it, they hate those little fluffy bast**ds) per month. Also although some species might hate water they drink gallons of it so it is wise to live near a lake. Finally if it has been a good little (huge) dragon then once a year, on its birthday preferably, you can give it a few hundred gallons of wine to drink, as it enhances their fire-breathing capabilities and it also releases stress.
You put the food in his cage and let him eat as much as what he feels he needs,
Just as much live food he can eat in one sitting twice a day. And keep the fresh greens/veggies available always.
as much as he or she wants. i have 3.
Every beardie I have ever met has had a good appetite, they are good eaters. Ours get crickets twice a day, veggies in the PM and super worms, wax worms, silk worms, meal worms and pinkies as "treats" every so often. The worms and mice are just an every once in a while thing or your beardie can get unhealthy and fat. Hope this helps.
